Sahaj to provide Agri services through Tathya Mitra Kendra

After the successful roll out of their rural IT infrastructure project across several districts of West Bengal, SREI Sahaj e-Village Limited, a subsidiary of SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd., has announced the launch of agricultural services at the Common Service Centers or CSCs. The facility was officially introduced by Dr. Sanjeev Chopra, Principal Secretary of Agriculture, Govt. of West Bengal at the Tathya Mitra Kendra in Jangipara CSC, Hooghly. Dignitaries present at the launch were Mr. M. N Roy, Principal Secretary of P&RD dept, Govt. of West Bengal, Mr. Satish Tiwary, Principal Secretary, Land & Land Reforms Commissioner, and other government officials. The service launched will enable the villagers to conduct soil testing and determine the suitability of soil for the growth of different crops in diverse seasons. Network Diagram for Connectivity of e-Courts The e-Courts scheme aims ICT enablement of the lower courts across the country in their functioning. The project envisages deployment of hardware, software and networking to assist district and taluka courts in streamlining their day to day functioning. Key functions such as case filing, allocation, registration, case workflow, orders and judgments will be IT-enabled. Causelists, Case status, orders, judgments will be available on the web and made accessible to litigants, advocates, and general public. The project aims to build a national grid of key judicial information available 24x7 in a reliable and secure manner. A Centre of e-Governance (CeG) has come up in capital New Delhi to disseminate awareness about e-Governance initiatives in the country. The CeG enhancement plan is a part of the “Awareness and Communication ” activity under NeGP and seeks to bring the achievements under NeGP under one umbrella for the information of citizens. $10 laptop: not a subsidized product, says Govt

BANGALORE: Officials have dispelled all the apprehensions over the Rs 500 computing device launched by Govt of India in Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
